Before your floatation experience
Floating really is an experience. At Releaf we do our utmost to ensure your experience exceeds your expectations. There are a few points to

- Arrive in a relaxed state - allow plenty of time to find a carpark and the centre if it is your first time
- Avoid heavy meals and caffeine a couple of hours before you float
- Don't shave any area of skin the day of your appointment
- Don't dye your hair 5 days prior to floating
- Avoid applying oils, creams and hair gel/wax the day of your float session
- For women in their menstruation period, you cannot float during this time

Frequently reported side-effects of floating include a broad smile, a feeling of being 10 years younger, and the confidence that you are helping your body, mind, and natural attributes to reach their full potential for whatever your personal objectives in life may happen to be.
Now that you have floated you may experience different things, some people have said to feel things like water in the ears, tired, feeling thirsty. Detoxing affects everybody differently, symptoms can include headache, nausea, stomach cramps and loose bowels. If you should experience these symptoms then drink lots of filtered / bottled water, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, trust your bodies ability to detox in a way you are able to handle and be gentle with yourself, take some time out to allow the process. Remember Floatation Therapy is a profound way of healing!
Other things more commonly said are - Feeling Extremely Relaxed, Lighter, Happier, Clear, Insightful, Focused, Healthier, Pain Free, Skin Feels Amazing, Inner Peace, More Fulfilled, More Able to take Action, Less Stressed for days/weeks and able to handle stress differently.
